PURR.AI Secures 5.7 Million CPU Hours for Advanced Computing Projects at Deucalion
We are delighted to announce that PURR.AI has been awarded an extraordinary 5.7 million CPU hours in the latest FCCN Call for Advanced Computing Projects (4th edition) under the A3 Larger Access category – Deucalion. This prestigious allocation represents a significant leap forward for our ongoing research and development efforts.
Deucalion, Portugal’s leading supercomputer, has recently earned a spot on the prestigious TOP500 list, ranking #81 in energy efficiency and #219 in processing speed globally. Located at the University of Minho and part of the EuroHPC network, Deucalion delivers a High Performance Linpack (HPL) performance of 3.9 petaflops. Its computational power supports a wide range of applications, from AI-driven drug discovery to climate modeling, all while maintaining a low carbon footprint. We are honored to utilize this cutting-edge resource to accelerate our research and innovation efforts.

This opportunity aligns perfectly with our mission to lead in the integration of artificial intelligence and computational technologies to solve complex scientific challenges. By leveraging Deucalion’s capabilities, we aim to push the boundaries of innovation, exploring new frontiers in our field and translating cutting-edge research into tangible solutions.
In the coming months, we will be diving deep into projects that require extensive computational resources, ranging from simulating complex biological processes to developing next-generation AI algorithms. The impact of this allocation cannot be overstated – it will enable us to achieve milestones that were previously out of reach. We are incredibly excited about the possibilities this brings and are committed to making the most of this unique opportunity.
